1. Bring Awareness and Education to what Alcohol Withdrawal Syndrome is Nationwide.
2. Provide support/advocacy to families with alcoholic/addicted loved ones recently arrested and help insure the person receives proper and immediate medical care while in custody, Nationwide
3. Push for new laws/legislation providing for not only monetary award to families who lose a loved one in custody due to inadequate care for withdrawal but to also provide consequence to responsible parties such as jail time. Nationwide
4. Development of a public registry/verification system or organization that insures all staff are properly trained at least 2 times per year to identify withdrawal and take appropriate action to obtain treatment for the person experiencing withdrawal. Nationwide
